Eight grants awarded for NWA research into collections with a colonial context

NWO has awarded funding to eight research projects in the second round of the Call for Research into collections with a colonial context. The awarded projects aim to promote knowledge development, knowledge exchange and cooperation between researchers from countries of origin and museums in the Netherlands.

A budget of 1.2 million euros is available for this Call. A maximum of €35,000 is available for research exchange proposals. A maximum of €350,000 is available for consortium grant proposals. In July 2024, eleven grants were awarded in the first round of this call for proposals.
